Arghhh! Redbacks! 😨🕷🕸
But don't worry these aussies won't bite they are purely decoration for your ear lobes. I must admit I had a hard time drawing and painting this design as these creepy crawlies scare the hell out of me and even just looking at them gives me the creeps. I've designed them so they look like they are on the move as the dangle from their webs.
For those of you that don't know Redback spiders also known as the Australian Black Widow are one of Australia's most venomous spiders and are one of the few that are harmful to humans. These spiders are mainly nocturnal and every now and then you will find them in your garden shed or outdoor dunny. And I don't know about you but it gives me a good fright when I find one!
Most of the earrings in the Halloween collection including this frightful design are made from handpainted laser cut acrylic and hypoallergenic stainless steel posts and studs. They all started out from my own hand drawn designs and I've had a fun time making them all. I'm pleased as punch with this collection and I'm sure you all will get some enjoyment out of them too!
