These earrings are my own hand drawn design, which have been carefully engraved into Australian eucalyptus wood and then lovingly handpainted. These beautiful earrings are depicting the real life Ulysses butterfly or commonly know as the Mountain Blue Butterfly which are native to tropical rainforests and suburban garden areas of Queensland Australia, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and the Soloman Islands. Its wingspan is a massive 14cm, so for purpose of recreating these lovelies as earrings we have made them a smaller and more suitable size for wearing on your ears.
